Why choose this type of holiday camp?

PLACES ARE LIMITED TO 16 ~ ensuring a more bespoke experience ~FREEDOM~ the focus of the day is about play and choice, so no ridged ‘timetable.’ PHYSICALITY ~ lots of energy is burnt as they build, swing, climb, use tools and laugh. CONFIDENCE ~ grows ~ as a result of the activities they do, what achieve with tools they use and the friendships they form.

The 3 words that are the focus of our day are KIND SAFE AND FUN no one of these words are more important than another. If we all keep these words in mind, we all have a spectacular day together.

KIND

- to ourselves, to each other and the woodland.

SAFE

- listening to all safety briefings around tools, fire and to each other.

- making choices around risk and benefits.

- if you are hurt, tell someone, do we need the first aid box?

FUN

- use tools to make things, use your imagination to create dens or artwork.

- discover and identify the mini beasts that make the woodland their home.

- learn to make sparks with a flint and steel. Build a light your own fire.

- swing in a hammock or sit with the trees.

- cook s’mores on a camp fire.

- laugh often.
