  • Development of previous FS role at the school.

  • Liaison and developing relationships with school (staff and teachers) remotely and in person.

  • Liaison and relationship development with the landowner of the wood used by the school. 

  • Making the use of the combination of continued academic studies and experience to ensure best possible practise.

AMESBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL - curriculum lead on Forest School field trip.

 
  • Asked by the school SENCO to work initially 1:1 then 1:2 with the same Year 6 students who were at risk of permanent exclusion before the end of the school year. I continue to work with students who have special provision, speech and language and benefit from emotional support.

  • All sessions planned to ensure the maximum opportunity for success and achievement. Whilst ensuring safe use of tools and a safe space for discussions related to school and life.

  • Detailed reflection and sharing of information, in a weekly written report, was an essential part of the work I do with these students.

Running two separate days. Reception - types of shelters, how to build using different resources. Years 1 & 2 lants, trees, ecosystems, seasons.

GIRLS ONLY AFTER SCHOOL CLUB - FS LEADER.

WORKING FOR 10 WEEKLY SESSIONS WITH A SMALL GROUP OF GIRLS.  At Hassocks Copse. Alresford. Hampshire.

  • Working alongside 12 girls, aged between 9-12.

  • Engaging in all 6 themes of FS.

  • Supporting and developing positive well being

  • Encouraging resilience, perseverance and friendship.

During my teaching career from 1996-2005 & also 2011-12 I had a variety of teaching & pastoral roles within Secondary schools. These were at a series of different schools in both the state and private sector. Listed are two examples in the latter years.
